Doina Fischer - Zauberhafte Festlichkeit, musikalisches Vergnügen

Ball Orchestra Wiener Flair

[Keine Beschreibung eingegeben]

The Ball Orchestra Wiener Flair is based on the idea to present, beginning from the traditional Viennese opening of the ball, an extended programme of standard dances as well as Latin American dances.

At the beginning of the event we present the musical accompaniment of the Young Ladies’ and Young Gentlemen’s committee with the Fan Polonaise by C. M. Ziehrer and more pieces ordered by the organizer. After the festive opening until the end of the ball the audience is invited to dance to Vienna waltz, Slow Fox, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango and Gallop. You will find on our programme also the rhythms of Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble, and, last not least, Boogie and Jive. At midnight, of course, we present the "Fledermaus" Quadrille by Johann Strauss with all their six parts.

The number of the musicians depend on the wishes of the organizers. The minimum personnel are a quintet consisting of violin, saxophone/clarinet, pianoforte, contrabass, percussion instruments. The standard consists of 3 violins, cello, clarinet, 2 saxophones, trumpet, pianoforte, contrabass, and percussion instruments. An extension up to 20 musicians is possible. The performances are strengthened, if necessary, with music installation. The performances take place in ball-rooms or occasionally in whatever other localities, where good dance music is required, possibly with weddings or other occasions.
